Functional Visual Skills
- Oculomotor Control: Efficient movements of the eyes in a coordinated manner allowing for perceptual stability
- Alignment- Are pupils symmetrical?
- Fixation- Can they fixate for at least 15 seconds on an object?
- Convergence/Divergence- As stimulus comes closer to the do both eyes come together? Do both eyes realign?
- Saccades- Can both eyes rapidly jump back and forth from stimuli?
- Pursuits-Can they track across a line of print without losing their place?
- Range of Motion- Do their eyes have movement in all planes?
